Rogue Housewife, once a career mom, is now doing time as a stay-at-home mom. She resides in a minimum security prison: a fairly progressive yet strangely homogenous residential community. She wants to break out, though. So it's hard to trust anything she says.
Until she's released, she'll just study her fellow captives and try her best to blend in. Occasionally, she'll go rogue and reveal what goes on behind prison walls or, as others know it, suburbia. She calls herself a 'housewife' to irk her fellow stay-at-home moms who seem to think that they've progressed beyond the 1950's.
The prison guards frown on watching anything other than PBS, CNN, or MSNBC. Therefore, she has never seen Bravo's Real Housewives shows or the ABC series Desperate Housewives. She occasionally reads the New York Times and the Washington Post to remind herself of the world she left behind.
Oh yeah, she's got a kid and a spouse too. But the life she lives isn't really about them, is it?
