Julie Bindeman, Psy-D, is a psychologist who obtained her doctorate at the George Washington University. She is licensed in the State of Maryland and enjoys working primarily with adults, young adults, and adolescents. Dr. Bindeman has worked in various school settings (including high school and colleges) as well as a variety of outpatient mental health facilities. She is trained in yoga therapy and believes that this is an additional technique that can be used to help integrate one's mind and body. Therapy is tailored towards each client's specific needs, as no two people (or areas of concern) are identical.
Julie's specialty is centered around those who are undergoing life transitions, such as going from adolescence to adulthood; transitioning from college; becoming a parent; or other adjustment issues with which people may struggle. She lives in the Washington D.C. area with her zoo: two dogs, one cat, one child and her husband.
