I've found the best way to deal with the chocolate issue is to invest in really good, slightly expensive chocolate- my choice is fair trade salted caramel crunch bars. The taste is intense enough to satisfy my craving with a small amount and it costs just enough to make me think before mindlessly eating a whole bar. I also get a lot of milage out of high quality hot cocoa made with milk.
