Travel Tuesday
Last Thursday I travelled to sunny Frankston (about an hour from Melbourne) to meet with a number of entrepreneurial mothers whom I mentor in terms of growing their businesses. One of them happens to be the owner of a great little independent bookshop called Robinsons.
As part of our conversation, she had a stack of books that publishers give her to read, and one of them took my fancy, so I've borrowed it. Whilst I'm not at liberty to reveal the name of the book, nor the author, what grabbed my attention was that it was based in Seville Spain.
It took me back to April this year when we were in Seville, visiting this beautiful city. The white umbrellas, about the middle of the photo, are in the rooftop garden of the Hotel Amadeus where we stayed. What I like most about this is that it reminded me of how you can be transported to just about anywhere, from just about anywhere. Who needs to get on a plane?
