Technology ThursdayTechnology Thursday is on a short break as I've been traveling. But I'd thought I'd share the absurdity of just how much technology my husband and I thought we needed on our recent 7-day car trip with our almost-one-year-old. Let's see... For my son we brought:
- a baby monitor and two receivers
- a breast pump and all the accoutrements
- one smart phone each
- car charger for each smart phone
- GPS device
- one laptop for me, TWO laptops for my husband
- car charger for the laptops
- 2 regular chargers for the laptops
- one iPod each
- car charger for the iPod
- one iPodtouch each
- small iPod speakers
- cable to connect iPod to car speakers
- two cameras, battery chargers and extra batteries along with memory cards (2 different kinds)
You forgot your Atek OnBoard Travel Keyboard.

I love this post. I was just saying to a friend how sometimes I feel like a cyborg -- between the breast pump with all its tubes and wires, the laptop and accessories with all their plugs... it's only a matter of time before I myself get some kind of technological implant.
