Wow, this was so well written. I've never been in your shoes. We've had different challenges that we've had to overcome and face, but a challenge which I feel became manageable.

I think for me personally I do sometimes ask if people have kids simply because if they don't it would be unfair to sit and talk about kids and what they get up to and their milestones. Then I would be able to steer the conversation into a different direction (especially if we are in a group and others do the whole child-talk thing). I think what makes this so challenging is that so few of us truly understand what challenges you face. And because it is such a silent thing, it is not obvious like breaking your leg or like when my daughter had cancer and no hair - it is not obvious like that. I think in many respects your journey is a very lonely one and I wish that life would not be so unfair.

I watched my beautiful, self confident daughter become reclusive, sad and angry , because of infertility. I did not have the words to help her. After a hysterectomy at age 39 because of the mecical issues that caused her infertility, the finality of it was to much for her to bear.... Coming 2 Terms has helped us both more than I can say. Thank You, Pamela
